The event, was held from July 18th � 20th, brought over 700 exhibiting companies to a sold-out show floor along with 25,000 quality attendees that included importers, distributors, manufactures, and global beauty leaders all under one roof. As in years past, Cosmoprof North America attracted many new and innovative brands in addition to industry leaders such as AHAVA, Alberto Culver, CONAIR, CND, Essie / L�Oreal Professional, JESSICA Nails, OPI Nail, Orly, RUSK, Schwarzkopf & Henkel, TIGI, z.one concept and Zotos International.
I had the pleasure to attend Cosmoprof 2010 Las Vegas again this year and had met some great people and saw some friends again and had the pleasure to see new beauty products and New beauty lines. Some excitement and some disappointment.
I do get the best of both as a professional and as a press member. I started beauty school in 1983, being in the beauty business I have the chance to learn about the newest lines,services and I am sent professional lines to test and for the hard working stay ay home Mom, I am sent lines for her to use at home or to ask for when she goes to the Spa.
I am one that cannot use a product including shampoo, nails, extensions or skincare one time and know how it works with my hair or skin, nails etc.. I do use the products for at least two weeks and more for skincare. A moisturizer can break me out at first, but over a little time, it could end up being one of the best ones I have used. An extension might look nice in the box, but wait and see if it is going to stay in your hair or your clients. And what will happen to the hair with daily hair routine.
There is no doubt there are so many lines in beauty and I love to find the ones that are the best.

don't forget to look at DISCOVER BEAUTY 2010 from Cosmoprof. These lines are fabulous. It was great to see a few that I have worked with there.
BELVADA THE NEW MASCARA
Belvada about Belvada in February at the ISSE show. Last week I was happy to see them at Cosmoprof in the Discover Beauty section. A few months ago I had received a mascara. I haven't been into my eyelashes lately until I used my new wonder conditioner and my lashes started growing & I started using this Mascara.They have a Mascara that won't clump. I have tried many mascaras and cannot say enough about
this. Did I say This is a mascara that has not Clumped. It applies like a dream and I am able to reach all the lashes with the nice size brush. I have tested this and I had put it though the clump test. I brushed my lashes for 30 times on the lash and besides dark beautiful long lashes, there was no clumps. :) I have done a test with one of my highest $ mascara's and Belvada gets 10 stars. The D--- mascara side was sad compared to Belvada .
The eyelashes are now one of my newest obsessions, I also have been using the Talika Lipocils Expert on both eyes,now I don't need fake lashes. For the Makeup Artist you need one hand free, than you have to see this mascara. Finish your clients with the Belvada mascara.

If you are a self tanner, than I have to tell you about my favorite. Solerra . Solerra has been around for awhile and are known for their tanning mitts. Rahua is a beautiful line. I did receive a sample packet of the shampoo and Conditioner. I can comment on the one use and say, that I did get a nice clean from the shampoo with no tangles and the conditioner left my hair very, very smooth.
It is one line that I would like to to use for a couple weeks to see how my hair responds to it. Some haircare my hair loves with the first than it stops.
Barista bath and body Line
I did just receive their 4 pack sample set. This I will review soon. I have to mention them because this is the most unique line I have ever seen or heard of. I love coffee and the scent. I did smell the bottles and yes they are coffee, but not too overpowering.

For Make-up - A line That I have tried and adore was there and I am sorry I didn't have time to talk to them. It Cosmetics. I am testing out their Brow Power and will have this up in part 2. I have used their Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer. This is the concealer that I have in my makeup drawer and always use. It blends in with a tiny drop. Completely covering any dark areas, and yes a concealer that blends in and doesn't leave the fine lines showing. If you are older you know what I mean. You blend and blend and give up cause those lines are not covered. Well, This one works for me and it stays on all day. No lines appear even if I sweat. I don't get pimples but once in awhile they do show up,when this happens, a dab of the concealer and bye bye blemish. This is a fabulous line. .

For nails I have been doing minx. As I was walking though the show and have heard of them there I see Dashing Diva nails. I think I stood there for 30 minutes looking at the nail polish and the Nails. They have the French Wrap Manicure and super chic Metallic Nails. Their nail polish, I cannot believe I haven't used them before. They had the prettiest colors.
The nails are sold to the public that last 3 days. A Professional service nail last 7 days.

My absolute favorite right now is the newest hair Extensions. I saw many of them at the show and will be testing a few lines soon. So keep an eye out for this.
I love testing them out on my hair. I usually will get the blonde and ad highlights. I love pre bonding Extensions and have talked about Cinderella hair below on the blog. They did my hair at the show in February. A few pink colors of organic protein bond. The colors are still in my hair and have been though a lot. They even lasted though a hair color. We colored the bottom of the hair and a one of the pinks made it in, it did turn the blonde color that I was looking for my hair to be. Its been though blow dry's, irons and even my little boy trying to pull it out. In my book it is one of the best.
They do offer their own class which includes all the products and teaching. I would love to take their 2-Day Training Seminar.
I do like the i-tips and use these and finding the right brand is on my list.
Newest in Extensions are the adhesive. I have been doing the i tip, pre bond and like to see how the adhesive is.
There are the clip in Extensions which I do recommend for anyone. The big one is Ken Paves- Hair you wear. I have tried the pony tail and it was really easy to put in my hair and even though it isn't real human hair, it did look great. It wasn't heavy and felt nice to have my hair up in a long pony tail.
Many Extensions lines are available, we want to know the best and will.
I am waiting for some to test and will update When I do.
