Take Back the pavement this earth day! LUSH bombs will be making the Earth a bit prettier this April, but not in their usual fizzing, fragrant way. In honor of Earth Day and to pay tribute to the bomb that made LUSH famous, swing into any LUSH store nationwide between April 13th and 26th and take back the pavement by making a complementary seed bomb to pretty up your city. While LUSH normally doesnt encourage their customers to throw their bombs into vacant lots, empty planter boxes and alleyways, we hope that they do just that with their handmade seed bombs. The combination of soil, seeds, water and clay rolled into a small ball can and should be tossed anywhere you want to beautify with flowers native to North America essentially this is a random act of kindness to Mother Nature.
Once youve done your good deed for the Earth, continue to do so by treating yourself to a few guilt-free, earth-friendly LUSH products. After tossing a few seed bombs and while you wait for your garden to grow, enjoy the beauty and fragrance of a fresh garden in your tub with English Countryside Bath Bomb. Use Squeaky Green Shampoo Bar and you will significantly cut back on the number of plastic bottles that are manufactured, transported and disposed of. Each LUSH shampoo bar is equivalent to three 250ml plastic bottles of shampoo last year alone LUSH customers saved 3 million plastic bottles from hitting landfill by using solid shampoo bars. Where packaging is required, such as with our new Shave the Planet Shaving Cream, you need not worry, LUSHs pots and bottles are made from 100% post consumer recycled material this switch will save over 65 tons of CO2 emissions, 52 tons of virgin plastic from production and 800 barrels of oil from being used this year. LUSH encourages everyone to seed the nation . . . The revolution is taking root! For more details on LUSHs campaign or earth-friendly products please get in touch.
