Update

If you are wondering where I am, I just got back from my over needed vacation. I had a great trip to Chicago to visit family, cousins wedding and yes to shop. We stayed in downtown Chicago at The Dana Hotel and Spa. Will let you know more about the Dana and our stay soon.
Right now I am working on our Cosmoprof info site. I did attend the show and am working on the NAHA awards. Than I will be letting you know about some of the great new beauty finds. From a coffee line to the newest in tweezers and much more new Beauty. It was a great time and I met some awesome people and saw some old friends.
We are also testing new products that will be reviewed soon. Talika, Lierac, Saltkin home fragrance and so much more coming.

Philip B. Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo

A few months ago I had the pleasure of attending a Launch party hosted by Philip B. in Long Beach.

Below on the blog are pictures of the party and on facebook if you are a fan or become a fan of Philip B there are more photos there. I knew about Philip B.and his line So I admit I was star struck when I saw Him.

It was like when I meet Simon Cowell, I had to stare in ahh before I could talk to him. But than he came over to me for a two cheek kiss. Talking to him a joy, and letting him know how much I appreciate his work to make the best beauty products there are for my family.

I have been in the beauty business since I was 18 when I started Beauty School. In my 30's I quit working to try to get pregnant. I wanted to keep up with the Beauty Business and started beauty editing on various online sites and than decided to be a stay at home mom to my now 5 yr old, I quit and I open my beauty blog. The point of this story is that I have tried many many lines, since I was 18. I know hair care and know that they are not all the same.

I use one drugstore product which is a lotion, I don't use any other drugstore beauty not because I am wealthy but because I know what is invested in a drugstore shampoo and what is invested in a Philip B shampoo. You get what you pay for.

After the party I did receive the Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo.
Have you ever tried something and you didn't want to tell anyone because it was "Yours"! This is how I feel about this Incredible Shampoo.

I wanted to write the review after we had finished the jar of shampoo. Some shampoo's I use and my hair feels and looks nice after a couple use's and than it quits and my hair looks terrible again.

The Russian Amber, It come in a jar and it is a scent of a beautiful warm amber, I like to use it a couple times a week and I wash at night and the morning I can still smell the amber scent. It is in no way overwhelming, just a light lingering scent.

The texture is like nothing I have seen before. Try to picture a rubbery thicker honey. The thickness makes it easy to scoop out onto my palms, than I add a little water and rub in my palms and it softens and starts to soften, spread and lathers really well.

It is easy to get a good deep clean wash with this shampoo. massaging the shampoo in my hair, what it didn't do is tangle my hair. I did leave in for a little over 5 minutes while I shaved and wash.

The very first time I used this I did use the Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Cr�me Rinse sample I had. I wanted to really see and feel how it worked on my hair and I didn't use any heat on my hair. I comb my hair with no tangles and let it air dry.

I don't like to mix brands so since than I have been using it without a conditioner, and I can glide my comb though my hair. I also have some hair extension in my hair and usually they tangle with my hair, pulling and pain. With the Russian Amber I didn't have any pain with the extensions.
After using the shampoo a couple times, my hair changed. Incredible, bouncy, shiny soft, healthy hair.

This shampoo was very moisturizing and added a lot of body to my hair.

Yes I do style my hair with a Flat iron when I did, it took less time and my hair was straight and a silky smooth looked like Jennifer Anistons.

Being a Mom of a 5 year old, time I don't have. I like to wash and go. When I used to wash and go I looked like a frizz mop. Not With the Russian Amber, it is incredible that I don't even need to comb my hair after my shower. I do have a naturally light curly hair and with the Russian Amber I do like that I can use my fingers and style, curl my hair with my fingers, and I have the most amazing hair days. Soft bouncy curls.

I am really impressed with the Russian Amber, it is the only shampoo that I can wash and go with.

With continue use not only did this make my hair look amazing the first time, it continued even after the jar was empty for awhile.

It makes your hair healthy. Amazing was I didn't cut my hair and my hair looked incredible.

This is a shampoo that did wonders for my hair. When Philip B. first came out with this shampoo I wondered why and what was so special about it. Now I know why.

Directions
